Natalie Rule is a composer, cinematic producer, and versatile multi-instrumentalist with a deep passion for creating evocative music that enhances the art of storytelling.

Today, she composes and releases original music as an artist under the name Nat Rule. Her work spans multiple short films, including a current project in post-production submitted to the Sundance Film Festival, and she is currently pitching compositions for commercial campaigns across visual media.

At age 8, while competing in the Liberace Piano Competition, her performance was featured in a TV commercial broadcast on channel 14 and across the internet. As highlighted in a feature by the Las Vegas Sun:

"My brother played so I thought I could follow in his footsteps," Natalie said, reflecting on how her 12-year-old brother, Nicholas—a former Liberace competitor—inspired her to start playing. Nicholas stepped back from competing that year to let Natalie take center stage, though she admitted that even with him cheering her on, she was still "a little bit nervous. Her formal journey into film scoring later took off at NYU, where a screen scoring course re-ignited her fascination with the intricate relationship between music and cinema. Studying documentary film and psychology inspired her to combine her skills and pursue media and film scoring professionally, leading her to complete advanced training at UCLA for scoring film and television.
